What is the best way to get around?
Uber and Taxis work very well in Portugal - Rental cars are also an easy option. We are working on getting a shuttle from the venue to the Hilton Hotel area for the guests who are not staying at the venue (please stay tuned for more updates regarding this)

16 minutes by car.
Where should I stay?
The venue is also a hotel, offering convenient on-site accommodations. For additional options, the Hilton located nearby provides another comfortable stay. You can find more recommended accommodations on our “Travel” page.
What is the dress code?
There’s no such thing as being overdressed for our wedding. We invite you to embrace your most elegant look, with semi-formal attire as the minimum. We also warmly encourage guests to wear traditional or cultural attire if they wish—kimono, kaftans, hanbok, and other cultural dress are truly welcome and will be celebrated.
Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
It will be just outside the castle but we will have access to both inside and outside of the castle during the day/night.

It still feels summery during the day, but evenings cool off nicely.

In Portugal most people can speak English, Portuguese, Spanish & French.

Invitations are individually curated to indicate the guests invited to attend.
How many nights should I plan to stay?
We have hotel rooms blocked for the evening of October 9, 2026 & night of October 10, 2026. We suggest you arrive a few days earlier due to potential jet lag.
